I was born on the west side of Chicago. By the age of six, the family moved to a house on Highland lake in Grayslake. By the fourth grade we moved to Round Lake Heights where I attended Indian Hill School. After completing 7th grade at Magee Middle school, the family moved once again, this time to Waukegan. I went to Jefferson Junior High for 8th grade and spent my high school days at Waukegan East High School.
After high school I attended The College Of Lake County in Grayslake. A year later I was living in Huntington Beach California; a place I went to "find myself". But all I really found was the ocean where I fell in love with boggie boarding.
A year and a half later I was back at CLC and joined the college radio station. From there I obtained an internship HERE at XLC where my first duty was cutting the grass around the radio towers. I eventually got on WKRS as a board operator. From there it was overnights on XLC, then evenings for six months.
Around 1991 I got my first job in Chicago at a rock station called The Blaze. I did afternoon drive, a year doing mornings and a year as the night DJ. After the station was sold I found myself a full time Dad taking care of my newborn son DJ.
After about six months of bottles and Barney I was asked to come back to XLC to do mornings with another Jen-Jenny Glick then Michel Chew took her spot when she moved west.
Almost two years later I went back to Chicago to work at The Loop, where I spent almost seven years as the night jock. From there it was 94-7 The Zone, then 95 WIIL rock for two years.
Now my life has come full circle once again by working as a morning show host here at 102-3 XLC where I'm having a blast!
I'm a divorced dad of two boys. I am currently living in Deerfield, but I'm making a move to Highwood ASAP.
My hobbies include cooking, fishing skiing, rollerblading and playing almost ALL sports. My all time favorite sport is football.
Being from the Chicagoland area it's pretty obvious what team I love...The Bears!
